When it comes to Indian clothing, I tend to go back in fashion. ‘sabaa’ is an extension to our inspiration from Kashmiri Culture and it’s practices. In this collection we wanted to get more elaborate and detailed and hence and created signature cholas and added kaftans.
Being a fan of classic clothing and evergreen style we wanted to incorporate kaftans as they don’t restrict to body type and are considered as free styles wearable by all.
Kashmir is about valleys, textiles, ornaments and it’s culture. Here we see above is a group of girls ready in their attires to attend a wedding of their closed ones. Kanika Sharma deriving the inspiration from the vast, denotes the culture and the type of clothing they wear.
This collection is entirely inspired by Kashmiri weddings and you will see nuisances of Kashmiri Lahori craft.Therefore the embroideries,the colors and fabrics everything was designed keeping in mind the same.

The motif is derived from Kashmiri architectural beauty and it’s hand embroidered in dabka and Dori zardosi work.
